Watercolor Supplies
Watercolor supplies have existed for many years. In fact,
the painting style is known to have existed since at least Egyptian
times. However, it is hypothesized to have existed for many centuries
earlier.
There are a few basic watercolor supplies which the beginning watercolorist
needs. Of primary importance are the paints, of course. These may be
purchased in either block or tube form.
Brushes are other important watercolor supplies. Sable types are generally
considered the most ideal as they have fine points and hold a lot of
pigment. Also, they are very reliable when it comes to springing back
into shape.
A strong paper type which can handle being loaded with water is another
need. Many watercolorists may also enjoy experimenting with mixing mediums
to thicken the paints.
