Art Paper Supplies

Art paper supplies are appreciated by many forms of artists and non-artists alike. This interest stems from the versatility of paper. It is used by writers as well as artists. Not only is it used as a surface for drawing or painting upon, it also may work as a medium applied to a surface. Collage is an excellent example of this.

Papermaking itself is also considered a creative medium. Art paper supplies for this purpose include pulps, fibers, pigments, molds, and rollers. Many other materials may be used in papermaking, such as flowers, seeds, hair, and string.

Art paper supplies also include paper-treating materials. Dyes, sizing, and stretchers are examples of this. Scissors and other cutting appliances also may fall under this category.
